Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data Clickwise AI Ads, the free Google Ads campaign management service offered at ads.clickwise.net, processes, what for, how long it keeps it and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Controller

• Data controller: Soft Dev FZ LLC, Fujairah Creative City, United Arab Emirates (licence No. 9485/2016). Soft Dev FZ LLC operates the Clickwise brand and provides the Clickwise AI Ads service.

2. Data we process

When you request an audit

Your store website, contact email, main selling country, Google Ads customer ID (optional), approximate monthly ad spend range and your message (optional). If the message contains a card number, we redact it before storing it.

When you use the service

• Your account on the service: email, login details and two-step verification settings.
• Your store and your instructions: website, product feed or Merchant Center ID, countries, language, goal, daily spend and cost-per-sale limits, and words or brands you do not want used.
• Acceptance of the terms and approval of the plan: we record which version of the terms you accept and when. When you approve a plan we store the approved plan, the user, the IP address, the version of the terms and the date and time. This is the proof that you authorised that plan and its limits.
• Data from your Google Ads account: campaign structure and settings and their metrics (cost, impressions, clicks and conversions by campaign, ad group, product and search term), plus the log of every change we make with its reason.
• Clicks and sales from your ads: if you install our measurement snippet on your store, for each ad click we record the Google click identifier, the parameters of the ad's URL and the browser's user agent, and for each sale the order number, value and currency. This is data about your store's visitors: we process it on your behalf (section 5).

What we do not ask for or store

• Passwords: we will never ask for them. Access to Google Ads works through the manager invitation that you accept in your account.
• Card details: Google charges your ad spend directly to the payment method in your Google Ads account. Clickwise never sees or handles your card.
• The IP address of whoever fills in the form: it is not stored. It is only used, turned into an irreversible hash, in a one-hour temporary memory to limit abusive submissions. The only IP address we store is the one from the moment you approve a plan.

3. What we use the data for and on what legal basis

• Answering your request and preparing the audit: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Providing the service: preparing the plan, creating and optimising the campaigns within the limits you approve, logging the changes and sending you reports. Basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Proving your authorisation and protecting the service: keeping plan approvals and stopping abuse, spam and fraud. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Measuring your ads: recording clicks and sales and uploading conversions to your Google Ads account. We do this on your behalf, as a processor (section 5).
• Complying with legal obligations: answering requests from authorities and keeping records where the law requires it (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Use of artificial intelligence. An AI model (Google's Gemini API) drafts plans and change proposals and classifies search terms. Each request contains data from a single client only. The AI does not decide anything on its own: changes are applied under the rules and within the limits you approve.

No cold outreach. Data from the form is not used for commercial campaigns of the Clickwise affiliate network. We do not sell, rent or give your data to third parties for their advertising.

4. Google Ads data

Clickwise AI Ads accesses your Google Ads account through the Google Ads API only after you accept our manager invitation. We use that data solely to provide the service to you: planning, managing and measuring your campaigns and showing you reports. We do not sell or share it, we do not use it for advertising or pass it to other advertising platforms, and we never use one client's data for another client's campaigns. Clickwise AI Ads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. If you remove our access, we stop querying your account.

5. Data about your store's visitors

For the clicks and sales of your store's visitors, you are the controller and Clickwise AI Ads acts as a processor: we use that data only to measure and optimise your campaigns and to upload conversions to your Google Ads account. It is up to you to inform your customers and obtain their consent where the law requires it. Our measurement snippet honours your site's consent choices.

6. Who we share data with

Only with the providers needed to run the service, who process the data on our instructions:

• Google Cloud: hosting of the application and database in the European Union (region europe-west1, Belgium).
• Google (Gemini API): drafting and search-term classification.
• Resend: sending the service's emails.
• Google (Google Ads): the platform where your campaigns run and where we upload your conversions.

Media Data Source FZE, an entity of the same group as Soft Dev FZ LLC, may currently operate the service's access to Google Ads.

We may also disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.

7. International transfers

Data is hosted in the European Union. Soft Dev FZ LLC is based in the United Arab Emirates and some providers, such as Google or Resend, may process data in other countries, including the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How long we keep data

• Requests that do not become clients: up to 6 months; then deleted or anonymised. Earlier if you ask.
• Ad clicks: 90 days from the click.
• Hash of the form's IP address: one hour.
• While the service is active: your account, your instructions, the plans, the change log and the metrics, so that we can provide it.
• Plan approvals (with the IP address) and acceptances of the terms: while your Google Ads account is linked and, afterwards, restricted for the applicable legal limitation periods, as proof of what you authorised.
• When the service ends: we stop querying your Google Ads account and keep the data restricted only for the applicable legal periods; then we delete it.

9. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, object to it and ask for portability of the data you gave us. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Write to privacy@clickwise.net with the subject "Data protection — Clickwise AI Ads", saying which right you want to exercise and your store's website or email. We answer within one month.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

10. Cookies

ads.clickwise.net uses no advertising or analytics cookies. The form uses a single technical cookie (the CSRF token) that protects it from forged submissions. If you use the service, we also use the session cookies needed to keep you signed in. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is significant and your service is active, we will tell you by email.
